North Mittens – English Pattern
North Mittens – this pattern is electronic and in english.
The North Gloves are knitted in the round from the cuff anddown towards the tip. The cuff consists of a tight ribbed edgewhich can be folded down so that the mitten fits extra wellaround the wrist. The mitten itself is knitted with a cable patternon the upper side of the mitten and stockinette st on theunderside of the mitten.
The thumb is formed by first placing the stitches from the mitten aside, and then the thumb is knitted for itself atthe end. The tip of the mitten is worked with decreases on each side, while at the same time finishing the cablepattern in an elegant way.
